There were some sites that were reporting that point guard Ryan Harrow could play tonight, but all of that talk was put to rest as the official word is that Harrow will not play. There still has not been any clarification on what exactly is ailing Harrow and the mystery has Big Blue Nation nervous about when exactly he will return. Many think that he was the missing piece that would have provided the Wildcats with a win against Duke.

The probable starters tonight against Lafayette in the home opener should be Nerlens Noel, Julius Mays, Archie Goodwin, Kyle Wiltjer and Alex Poythress.

Something to watch for tonight is the involvement of Kyle Wiltjer. Wiltjer was the highest scorer in the first game against Maryland with 19 points, but failed to find much of  a shot against Duke. He ended the night with five points and it didn’t look as if his teammates were giving him much of a look down the stretch. In order for Kentucky to win, their best shooter has to have the ball in his hands around the perimeter.
