Former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA: 11/16 Edition

It was a slow day for former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA as there were only three total NBA games being played last night, one of which involved teams without any former Wildcats on their rosters.  Rajon Rondo, Keith Bogans and Josh Harrellson were the three former Cats in action last night.  Let’s take a look at how each player did individually.

Brooklyn Nets 102 – Boston Celtics 97

  • Keith Bogans, Guard, Brooklyn
  • Rajon Rondo, Guard, Boston

Two of the three former Cats in action last night took part in the Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics game.  For the Nets, starting guard Keith Bogans logged 18 minutes, scoring 5 points, dishing out an assist and pulling down a rebound.  On the other side of the court, Boston starting point guard Rajon Rondo sat out last night’s game with an ankle injury.  Rondo sprained his ankle in a recent game against the Utah Jazz and the condition is unknown at this point in regards to his return to the floor.  Rondo still has the streak alive of consecutive games with 10+ assists, sitting right now at 32 straight games, The Rondo-less Celtics fell to the Nets as Brooklyn notched their fourth straight win, 102-97.

Miami Heat 98 – Denver Nuggets 93

  • Josh Harrellson, Center, Miami

With Josh Harrellson looking like he has dropped down the depth chart as far as big men are concerned for the Miami Heat, he did not receive any playing time.  Jorts is now stuck behind Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, Rashard Lewis and Joel Anthony on the Heat bench.  The Heat got the win over the Denver Nuggets last night, by the score of 98 to 93.
