Kentucky Wildcat Basketball: Decorum is needed when it comes to Ryan Harrow's situation

There have been tons of rumors and speculation about the mystery illness of UK point guard Ryan Harrow and some outlets have gone as far to suggest that he may have  mononucleosis.  Nothing has been released on his condition officially so at this point, I think that the right thing to do is to respect Harrow’s privacy and not just throw old wild things that you may have self diagnosed on Web MD.  Nothing official has been released by UK or the UKAA. so it’s best to take such rumors with a grain of salt until something official is announced.   From what we have been told about Harrow’s illness, mono may make sense, but all we have heard is a few symptoms tossed out by Coach Cal and the main one has been fatigue.  Saying definitively that he has something based on speculation is disrespectful to his privacy and we just need to calm down a bit and let UK announce something.  Then freak out.

Interestingly enough, this is the second mysterious illness to strike Kentucky athletics this year.  Mister Cobble of the football team missed a few games earlier but this appears to be something different for Harrow.  Regardless, if Harrow is to miss a few more games (and I am not saying he will) , Kentucky has three wins on the schedule (Lafayette, Morehead State, and Long Island University) before travelling Notre Dame on November 29.

So for now, lets practice decorum and not freak out about what Harrow may or may not have, but just hope he gets better.
