On the night of Election 2012, most of the former Kentucky Wildcats had the day off…but not everyone.
Detroit Pistons-97 Denver Nuggets-109
>Brandon Knight, PG, Detroit
>Tayshaun Prince, SF, Detroit
Unfortunately for the former Boys in Blue, 3/14 will not cut it in the NBA. And no, those weren’t an individual’s shooting numbers, they’re combined. Knight managed 4 Reb and 8 Ast, and Tayshaun 3 Reb and 0 Ast, but nowhere near enough are those contributions to keep Detroit from falling to 0-4.
Chicago Bulls-99 Orlando Magic-93
>Nazr Mohammed, Center, Chicago
>Marquis Teague, PG, Chicago
Fortunately for Teague and Mohammed, the Bulls won, but they didn’t have any statistical impact. Nazr played only 7 minutes, missing all 3 shots and grabbing no rebounds. Teague did not log any game action.
Oklahoma City-108 Toronto Raptors-88
>DeAndre Liggins, PG, OKC
>Daniel Orton, Center, OKC
Again, it’s a mixed bag of good and bad for the former Cats. The OKC Thunder busted up Toronto by 20, but Liggings logged only 3 minutes of game time, attempting 0 shots and recording no other stats. Unfortunately for Orton, he was relegated to being a cheer leader.
