Former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA: 11/5 Edition


It was a slow day in the NBA for former Kentucky Wildcats, as former Cats took part in only two of last night’s games.  DeAndre Liggins, Brandon Knight, Tayshaun Prince, and Jodie Meeks all saw the floor for their respective teams last night.  Let’s take a look at how each player did individually.

Los Angeles Lakers 108 – Detroit Pistons 79

Three of the four former Kentucky Wildcats in action last night took part in the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Detroit Pistons game last night.  For the Lakers, Jodie Meeks saw four minutes of action and went 0 of 2 from the field, including 0 of 1 from 3-point land.  For the Pistons, Brandon Knight got the start and finished with 2 points, 6 assists, 1 rebound and 5 turnovers.  Also for the Pistons, Tayshaun Prince joined Knight in the starting lineup, finishing with 9 points, 2 rebounds and a block.  Meeks and the Lakers got their first win of the season in this one, 108-79.

Atlanta Hawks 104 – Oklahoma City Thunder 95

Former Kentucky Wildcat DeAndre Liggins failed to see the floor for the third straight game for the Oklahoma City Thunder last night.  Liggins has yet to see any playing time this season.  The Thunder and Liggins fell short to the Atlanta Hawks, 104-95.
