Kentucky Wildcats look for upset against Mississippi State

For the fourth straight week: Kentucky takes the field in hopes for an upset against a ranked team. With the No. 19 Bulldogs visiting today, the Cats have little margin for error. Jalen Whitlow will take the snap for UK today, with the possibility of Patrick Towles playing also.

With CoShik Williams out at tailback, Raymond Sanders wants to help UK’s run game more this week against the Bulldogs.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, Mississippi St. says that they are trying to avoid a letdown at Commonwealth today, stating that anything is possible.

As Calipari preps his young team to become tomorrow’s leaders, some of his former players serve as living proof. The oldest player on the Detroit Pistons roster, Corey Magette, says Brandon Knight is the leader of the team. “He’s doing it on the court. He’s working hard. He’s doing all the right things. Guys really look at that. He’s earned his respect.”

Last but not least, I leave you with this clip of the Houston Rockets’ scrimmage yesterday, in which Patrick Patterson faces rookie Terrence Jones.
