Inside The Numbers: Florida Gators

Today at 12:21 p.m. EST on the SEC Network, the Kentucky Wildcats travel down to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators, ranked #14 in the latest AP Poll. Last week couldn’t have been more opposite for the two teams. Kentucky lost to Sun Belt member Western Kentucky 32-31 in overtime at home. On the other hand, Florida traveled to Knoxville and manhandled the ranked Tennessee Volunteers 37-20. But everyone knows about “The Streak”. Kentucky last defeated Florida in football on November 15th, 1986, 25 consecutive wins for the Gators over the Wildcats. Kentucky will hope to finally end that streak this season.
