What is bigger? DeMarcus Cousins shoe or a small child?
I know you have been wondering and thanks to the Kentucky Wildcat Basketball alumni game on Saturday, we all know that answer. As I reported Saturday, DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis were absolute beasts in the game, but the real winner was charity as close to half a million dollars were raised. And of course, there was a lot of basketball that was played.
Since we all need a brief respite from football, I found a few videos to help to capture the feeling of the event for those that did not make it down to the game. Here is the National anthem and the players introduction for the Alumni game:
Once the game got started, it was plenty of dunks for Anthony Davis, but Wayne Turner drained some treys and Boogie Cousins showed his long range form:
Antoine Walker is arguably one of the more enigmatic Kentucky basketball players since he has left Lexington. So anything he does will be scrutinized. And at the alumni game, ‘Toine showed us the “Good, Bad, and Ugly” all in one video clip:
In the end, it is all about tradition at Kentucky and one of the coolest things was the inclusion of legends like Wah Wah Jones. Here, John Calipari introduces Jones and fellow gold medal winner Anthony Davis:
