When looking at the best quarterbacks to play at UK in the past, no one would have thought that current UK Max Smith would be able to be compared to the likes of Jared Lorenzen, Andre Woodson, and Tim Couch. Instead, there were more people who thought the more heralded Patrick Towles, or even Jalen Whitlow would be the future QBs of the commonwealth’s team. But not everything goes according to the script that fans and media think in their minds and in write their columns.
