The WBN Top 25 voters were very impressed with Alabama’s 41-14 win over Michigan and as a result, the Crimson Tide are a near unamious nuumber one.  Last week, Alabama and USC split the first place votes but this week Alabama grabbed five out of the six votes cast and were second in the other ballot.  Alabama earned 149 of a possible 150 votes and strengthened their hold on number one.  The first six teams in the WBN Top 25 remained the same and former number #7 Michigan plunged eleven spots to #18.

The big gainer of the week was Oklahoma State. Even though the opponent was Savannah State, WBN voters were impressed with the 84-0 thrashing that they catapulted  the Cowboys  six spots, from #21 to #15.  Two new teams entered the top 25 with Notre Dame and Louisville filling out the poll.  Boise State and Auburn were the teams that dropped out to make room for the new entries.
