September 2, 2012; Louisville, KY USA; Kentucky Wildcats head coach Joker Phillips questions head linesman W. Randall Kizer during the second half of play against the Louisville Cardinals at Papa John
Good afternoon Joker. Rough night last night, huh? Yea, I hear ya.
I can just imagine what your Twitter feed holds for you today. I know that my twitter feed pretty much got blown away last night, not by Louisville fans, but by Kentucky fans who are made at me for supporting YOU!. Ha, ain’t that a bitch? Who saw that coming?
You know, I’m a big boy and I can take that, but as one of the Kentucky fans that still fully support you this morning (even after that fake punt call), let me offer a bit of advice to you. From a proud Kentucky alum to another. There is something you have been doing lately that kinds of bugs me and frankly, I’d like to see it stop. I know you think so in your your heart, but Joker, Charlie Strong is not your friend. I don’t think he even respects you. Yet on several occasions, I see you talking about this great friendship you and Charlie have and to be honest, I never really see him tell anyone that you are his friend.
So let’s stop that. There are plenty of signs that Charlie is not your friends. There are certain things friends don’t do. Like a good friend does not come to your house, drink all your beer, beat you at Madden, and then when he leaves, takes your four season collection of “Breaking Bad” and tells you that you are NEVER getting it back. And that he is taking the next season when it comes out too. Yet, that is kind of what Charlie did last year with the Governor’s Cup.
I get it, he’s paid to do that. But how about this. You are the face of Kentucky football and there should have been warning signs when Charlie did this to the “face” of Kentucky football:
