This is the last image that University of Kentucky football fans have implanted in their heads. “The Streak” against Tennessee finally ended after 27 long years with wide receiver Matt Roark at quarterback. Hopefully that emotion and momentum will carry over into this season. On the eve of Kentucky’s 122nd season of football, I decided to look back at certain anniversaries of great moments in UK football that will be coming up this season, as well as current players that are close to certain statistical milestones of their own.
