Joker Phillips announced this morning that projected starting CB Marcus Caffey academically ineligible this season. Caffey was a star of spring practice after moving from tailback to cornerback, and Joker raved about his potential throughout the spring and summer, but alas, UK will have to find a way to replace him and compensate for an already thin defensive backfield.
