
Earlier today, NBA rookie and former Cat Terrence Jones finally signed his contract with the Houston Rockets. The contract was reportedly a two-year, $2.5 million deal. Jones, following in the footsteps of Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, becomes the third Wildcat to sign his contract within past few weeks. Darius Miller is still in the process of negotiating his contract, as second-round picks do not have guaranteed contracts. This chart below shows the adjusted pay scales of NBA rookies this season, and just so you know, there isn’t much of an adjustment, seeing as they all make six or seven figures annually. Anthony Davis (1), Kidd-Gilchrist (2), Jones (18) and Teague (29) are all on the chart. (Thanks to John Clay, LHL for the chart)
