2014 seems light-years away, at least it does to me, but it’s never too early to get a quick preview of the talent that’s going to be committing within another year and a half. Cliff Alexander is a prime example of what talent the Class of 2014 has to offer. A 6-foot-9 center from Chicago, Alexander has a perfect frame and is able to take control under the basket.

His game is reminiscent of Demarcus Cousins, minus the attitude. He loves to attack the basket, he can rebound well, and he can run the floor. He has an offer from a few  schools in the Big Ten, and is being scouted by the rest of the schools in that conference, as well as Louisville and Tennessee. But I don’t see why that would stop John Calipari and his staff from giving him a look. Being from Chicago, he is just on a list of names of talented players Calipari has coached or is recruiting from there.
