Kentucky and Coach John Calipari could get their second and third commitment of the 2013 class in September. Kentucky has long been thought to be the front runner for the Harrison twins, Aaron and Andrew. The Harrison twins had previously said they were going to make their college decision in October on their birthday. For some reason, however, they have decided to make their decision on a college in September.
If you haven’t heard about Aaron or Andrew, here is what our own Jason Marcum had to say about Aaron:
“He’s a lights-out 3-point shooter and one of the top perimeter defenders in the 2013 class. He has great ball-handling skills and is an excellent driver, which means he will thrive in John Calipari’s dribble drive offense. Aaron plays very aggressive and isn’t afraid of contact while driving to the rim. His driving ability combined with his 3-point shooting ability will make him one of, if not the hardest player to guard of any 2013 recruit.”
Jordan Kendall on Andrew:
“His size makes him a tough matchup for opposing guards and his ability to push the ball in traffic and find the open man makes him very dangerous in transition. Harrison is also a consistent three point shooter and can move to the shooting guard position and spot up for open shots. He rebounds very well and has the potential to be one of basketball’s best defenders due to his length and quickness. His strong transition game and versatile defense would make him a perfect fit for John Calipari’s system at Kentucky.”
