According to Adam Zagoria, 2014′s SG D’Angelo Russell will be in Lexington for a couple of hours today and will visit with John Calipari.  Russell, a 6’4, 215 pound combo guard from Louisville did not start last year at Central and will be transferring to Montverde Academy in Florida to play under legendary coach Kevin Boyle (Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s old HS coach). Russell visited the Cincinnati campus this weekend and has an early list of favorites that include Kentucky, Cincinnati, Louisville, Ohio State, and Missouri. Kentucky is the only school in that group that has not offered yet.

Russell is a five star recruit according to Scout, and is rated as the second best SG in the class. Back in January, Russell listed Kentucky and Ohio State as his “dream schools”.
