The biggest rule change to hit the NCAA in a while is the one that now allows coaches unlimited texting and phone calls to recruits. This rule comes a little too late for coaches like Indiana’s ex-coach Kelvin Sampson, Tennessee’s ex-coach Bruce Pearl, and ex- Tennessee football coach Lane Kiffin. As these three coaches know, simple things like phone calls and texting could end with serious NCAA rules violations and even job termination.
