We are now in full swing of recruiting for the 2013 class and the names at the top of Kentucky’s list are the Harrison twins, Andrew and Aaron. The twins participated in the NBPA Top 100 camp in the last week and while Aaron said there was no clear cut favorite among Kentucky, Baylor, Villanova, and Maryland (SMU seems to have been officially eliminated now) the Wildcats of Kentucky generates the most buzz when he and his brother talk colleges. Aaron also had more thoughts on Kentucky and John Calipari:
Asked why it is UK that is in that spot, Harrison replied, “They put people in the NBA and their style of play is great.”
Aaron shared his thoughts on Kentucky head coach John Calipari, who led the Wildcats to the national championship this past season.
“He’s great, he says we’re his number one priority in the class of 2013,” Harrison said.
As for what hearing Coach Cal say that means to him, Harrison remarked, “It’s a great feeling. [He is] such a wonderful coach—great career, put so many people in the NBA. Feels amazing.”
Also, James Young confirmed that he has a Kentucky offer this weekend and he seems to be a Kentucky lean as well.
