It is most certain that Kentucky fans stick together. The Twitter calling card for the Wildcat faith is #BBN. It pops up in tweets when fans are conversing on the social network. It’s kind of like a secret handshake or a secret password; if you’re really in the club then you are going to use it.

Kentucky football has taken the #BBN symbol and used it on billboards as kind of a campaign to ready fans for the upcoming season. The billboards have actual tweets from fans that include the fans twitter handle. It’s a great marketing campaign. Very clever and very effective.

The problem that I have with it is that Kentucky fans are not so ready to embrace football and for the most part use #BBN for basketball exclusive purposes.
