Coach Smith had nothing but high praise for this year’s team, especially senior Darius Miller.  The senior had 40 teammates during his college career, if not more.

Anthony Davis, come on, those guys, but the glue to that team, I thought, was Darius Miller.  Whenever it looked like it might come apart, even in the championship game, in the championship and at the Final Four, he was always the guy that stood up, and made some great decisions, a very calming…It’s still too soon.  Somebody’s gotta be mature.  Those kids were really mature kids.  Mature beyond their age.

Mature, indeed.
