Kentucky Wildcat Basketball: Nerlens Noel under NCAA investigation?

 

If John Calipari were Batman, Pete Thamel would be his penquin:  loud, threatening, but never able to really put a plan together.  Alas, we are nearing the end of the college basketball signing period and Pete Thamel has reared his head with a story entitled “Elite Kentucky Recruit Attracts NCAA Inquiry” but as of right now seems to be standard procedures instead of a smoking gun of any wrong doing.  This is not Thamel’s first attempt to throw suspicion on Noel.  He wrote a rambling manifesto a few months back that really had very little to do about Noel and he is back with his sequel.  Thamel reports now that two NCAA investigators met this week with Noel’s former principal. Louis Baldi, who said no “investigative type questions” were asked.
