Kentucky Wildcat Basketball: 2012 Champs Shine at the Derby

Coach Cal got into the interview action with local reporter and host of the television show “Great Day Live”, Angie Fenton. He talks about the whirlwind 48 hours of meeting the president, going to the Barnstable Brown party and the Kentucky Derby. You can tell he’s a little exhausted, but he is a great interview as always. Note the awkward ending by Fenton.

The Wildcats were a constant and dominating presence at the state’s biggest event, much like they were during the tournament. From Cal’s stint as the Grand Marshall of the Derby Festival’s Pegasus Parade, to the players bringing the Rose Wreath to the winner circle, the Wildcats again showed that they are truly the Commonwealth’s team.

Oh yeah, and this is further proof that it’s the KENTUCKY Derby and not the LOUISVILLE Derby.
