I said it before and I’ll say it again: that was the best speech President Obama has given since he took office nearly four years ago. All politics aside, it was a grand honor for the Kentucky players and staff to be honored in the White House. It was something I’ve personally wanted to see happen, and it finally did today. The President did make a remark by saying that if Coach Cal continued to recruit at the current rate, he expects him to be back sometime soon.
For those of you who missed the event, feel free to watch it here. Look for Eloy’s chest pass to Obama, maybe the President could look into a basketball career after politics.
