Who Should Kentucky Wildcats replace Indiana Hoosiers and North Carolina Tar Heels With?

Now that Indiana and North Carolina are off the schedule for the 2012-13 season, Mitch Barnhart and John Calipari have to act quickly if UK is to add a solid replacement game. The Cats need to play a quality opponent to help “break-in” a brand new team that will feature 5 new starters. Here are some teams the Cats could consider playing this year:

 

UCLA

After one of the biggest recruits in 2012, Shabazz Muhammad, spurned the Cats for Ben Howland’s UCLA Bruins, this would be a great matchup between two top-10 preseason teams and the #1 and 2 recruiting classes. The schools have played only 10 times despite having a combined 19 national championships, and last played in 2006 in the Maui Invitational.

      Well Syracuse may be added via the SEC/Big East Challenge. It should be a tough team added there and that will be a road game. Would not mind seeing UCLA or Kansas
