Earlier tonight, the University of Kentucky Wildcats baseball team began their series with fellow top ranked SEC opponent, the Florida Gators.  With Kentucky, LSU, and South Carolina all tied for first in the SEC, and Florida right behind these three, this series with Florida is huge for the Kentucky Wildcats.  The Wildcats, Tigers, and Gamecocks all have a 14-7 SEC record, while the Gators have a 12-9 SEC record.  Both Kentucky and Florida have been slumping recently, with Kentucky losing its first series of the season, at Vanderbilt.  This was a series that the Wildcats had no business losing but look to rebound against Florida in these next couple days.  Tonight’s game started at 7:30, and just finished, so let’s look at how the Bat Cats faired.
