Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: Mark Lyons Visits Arizona on Friday

After two extremely secretive visits to Lexington, Mark Lyons will be headed to Arizona on Friday to visit Sean Miller and his version of Wildcats. Miller recruited Lyons back when he was a high school point guard, but Lyons insists that the past will have no effect on his decision.

Reports are that Lyons loves Cal’s style and he also loves that Kentucky players usually enter the NBA draft after just one season. As a senior, Lyons only has one season to give.

I think Kentucky is in a good position with Lyons, but can the fans get over the character issues that he brings with him? John Calipari is a no BS kind of coach. Either Lyons buys into the system and the team mentality or he will sit the bench if he makes it to Kentucky.
