Former cat Brandon Knight finished with a very good rookie season, but he does not want it to stop there. In fact, Brandon Knight intends on being an all-star, making the playoffs, and eventually win an NBA Championship.

My goals are to be as good as I can possibly be. If that is All-Star status, then I will take it.”

But mostly for me it is making sure that this team is competing for a playoff spot and eventually a championship run.”

Many people feel that Knight can be a fantastic player, and you can include me in that club, but what about the Pistons. How much team success can they possibly have? I have no doubt that Brandon Knight wants to be a future all-star and NBA champion. Can his supporting cast help supply those needs though?

The Pistons finished the season with a 25-41 record. This was 10th in the Eastern Conference. They have some very solid players on their roster, which include Greg Monroe, Brandon Knight, and Rodney Stuckey. How can the Pistons take it to the next level?

I think that Brandon Knight will eventually lead the Pistons to the Playoffs, and if they add some more good players to go along with their big three, then who knows, they may end up being back to the prominence that they were once apart of. I feel that drafting great players and landing stars in free agency is the only way they can do that.

You can easily tell that Brandon Knight is thirsty for a playoff push next season. I could see him potentially being a breakout player next season.

According to DraftExpress, they have the Pistons getting the No.9 overall pick in the draft. They also have the Pistons getting Austin Rivers with their ninth pick. A player like that, plus Brandon Knight, could bring big things back to Detroit, and make a playoff push next year. The Pistons also have a mix of veteran players in the mix as well, such as Ben Gordon, Tayshaun Prince, Charlie Villanueva, and Ben Wallace. If it all plays out as expected, then you can expect the Pistons to be serious playoff contenders next season. Brandon Knight may have not had the supporting pieces for a playoff push this year, but Knight and his team may be suited up well for a playoff push next season.

Hopefully we will see Brandon succeed, and start next season out on a high note.

Best of luck to Brandon Knight, and his future as an NBA player.
