  • Demarco Robinson can be a playmaker. Robinson, the tiny sophomore receiver, lit up the scoreboard with 2 highlight reel TDs and over 100 yards. He has a slight frame and isn’t very tall, but he can do work in the slot.
  • It appears that your WR rotation is La’Rod King, Robinson, Daryl Collins, EJ Fields, Gene McCaskill and Aaron Boyd. In that order. Brian Adams was with the baseball team. Bookie Cobbins was in sweatpants.  Boyd looked a little faster. Collins flashed good hands and moves. Fields teased with great catches but then dropped one over the middle that would have gone for a long TD.
  • The O-line is razor thin. Not like that is news. The starting 5 looked pretty solid only giving up one sack, and that came on a naked bootleg. The backups are another story. Jacob Russell was sacked at least 7 times by my count. It seemed like the starting D was able to collapse the pocket at will. Teven Eatmon-Nared struggled mightily. As did Max Godby. Both lines were successful in their run-blocking however.
  • Kentucky is loaded at running back. Coshik Williams, Raymond Sanders, and Jon George all ran with purpose. Josh Clemons sat out with a knee injury. And mark my words, walk-on Derek Bishop has a chance to contribute one day. Bishop showed a good speed/power combo running for the 2nd team.
