Kentucky Wildcat Basketball Recruiting: Troy Williams Down To Two

Most teams are wrapping up their 2012 recruiting classes with late commitments, but Kentucky has not finished yet. Undeclared 2012 shooting guard, Torian Graham, is once again being pursued by John Calipari and his coaching staff. Graham is 6’4 and 200 pounds with the ability to score at will. If Kentucky can add him to the already number one recruiting class in the country, they may have another young team with a lot of potential to make another championship run.

Troy Williams, a Class of 2013 small forward who is ranked sixth on ESPNU’s Super 60 cut down his list to Kentucky and North Carolina earlier this week. Williams is a lengthy defender and has a nice offensive skill set that makes him a threat on both ends of the floor. His decision is expected to be made sometime before the end of May.

I talked one of the top small forwards in the Class of 2014, Stanley Johnson, earlier in the week and he informed me that the University of Kentucky coaching staff would be in to watch him workout and practice sometime this week. Arizona and Syracuse have already visited him and UCLA and USC are also expected to visit him later this week.

That’s all the Kentucky basketball recruiting updates I have as of right now. Be sure to check back with Wildcat Blue Nation everyday as we’ll keep you posted on everything happening with Kentucky basketball fast and free.
