Rajon Rondo-Boston Celtics Point Guard

Rajon Rondo has been on a tear since the NBA All-Star break, and is currently on a streak of 22 consecutive 10+ assist games. He joined John Stockton and Magic Johnson as the only players to ever have 20 straight games with at least 10 assists. What’s even more amazing is that Rondo never once had a game of at least 10 assists while atKentucky.

His Celtics team has also been on a tear, and are now 36-25, lead the Atlantic Division by 4 games, and are currently the #3 seed if the NBA Playoffs started today.

With Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen sitting out last night, it was up to Rondo to carry the load for his team. He did just that, scoring 20 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and dishing out 16 assists to lead his Celtics to a 94-82 victory against the Bobcats.
