Apr 2, 2012; New Orleans, LA, USA; Kentucky Wildcats guard Doron Lamb (20) shoots a three point shot against the Kansas Jayhawks during the second half of the finals in the 2012 NCAA men

With Chad Ford announcing that “sources” let him know that Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Terrence Jones will be announcing their NBA draft intentions sometime this week, and Marquis Teague letting us know that he will be discussing his future with his family in the coming days, we have heard nothing whatsoever from Doron Lamb.

NBADraft.net had Lamb going at #18 to the Cleveland Cavaliers but DraftExpress.com has him as the third pick in the second round. Teague is more of a slam dunk first rounder than Lamb is. So, this begs the question, could Lamb be considering staying at Kentucky? He would be the best player on the team and the unquestioned leader. Winning back to back championships is rare, and maybe Lamb is enticed by this. After all, he came back when everybody thought he was a lock to leave last season.

The silence does give us some hope, but my guess is that he will be gone.
