Mar 17, 2012; Portland, OR, USA; Indiana Hoosiers head coach Tom Crean yells out to his team during the first half of the game against the Virginia Commonwealth Rams in the third round of the 2012 NCAA men

For Friday’s Sweet 16 game between the #1 seed Kentucky Wildcats and the #4 seed Indiana Hoosiers, the stage is set for a rematch of what some call the “Game of the Year” in college basketball this season.  On December 10th, 2011, the undefeated and #1 ranked Kentucky Wildcats went to Bloomington, Indiana, facing their first true road test of the year, in front of a hostile crowd and an up and coming Indiana team.  UK went down big early but battled back in the second half.  Missed free throws gave Indiana one chance.  A ray of hope that they could still come up with this huge upset.  Indiana’s Verdell Jones III races up the court with time winding down, gives it up to Christian Watford who takes a three as time expires.  The shot goes in and the crowd storms the court, as Big Blue Nation stares in complete shock.  Indiana wins 73-72 handing Kentucky their first and only loss of the regular season.  That would be a fantastic storyline leading up to any Sweet 16 game, but in this matchup, there’s even more of a story that lies beneath.
