The first game of the 2012 NCAA Tournament tipped off tonight, as the WKU Hilltoppers and Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils squared off in the First Four in Dayton, Ohio, with the winner advancing to play top-seeded Kentucky this Thursday. MSVSU was lead by one of UK’s Unforgettables, head coach Sean Woods. WKU featured a number of former UK recruits, including center Teeng Akol, forward Vinny Zollo, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s high school teammate, guard Derrick Gordon.
