Mar 13, 2011; Atlanta, GA, USA; Florida Gators center Vernon Macklin (32) works with the ball between Kentucky Wildcats guard Darius Miller (1) and forward Eloy Vargas (30) during the first half in the championship game of the 2011 SEC men

If you’re looking for a senior day tribute for Darius Miller and Eloy Vargas that will go down the stats of each senior and what they’ve did in the years they’ve been at Kentucky, then you’re on the wrong website, you can click off now if you’re looking for someone to crunch the numbers. You can find those on any website over the course of the next couple of days or in any program or just Google it. After all, Wildcat Blue Nation prides itself on being fan written for the fans. So here goes nothing.

When I was asked by Wildcat Blue Nation to pay tribute to the two lone seniors on this year’s Kentucky squad, I didn’t have any intentions of posting the stats of each player and being insightful (because let’s face it when have I ever been insightful?) but instead cherish the memories of those who went to war in the blue and white.  It was always an honor to watch these two lone seniors take the floor for Kentucky, and while their season isn’t over, tomorrow night we celebrate their legacy and thank them for their dedication and hard work throughout the years playing at Kentucky.

So as storms ravage through Kentucky, sit back and enjoy your seniors.
