Travis High School
Houston, Texas
6’5/210
Class of 2013
Aaron Harrison is a 6’5 guard in the Class of 2013 who is currently gaining interest from many of the nation’s top programs. One of those programs is the University of Kentucky. Harrison can sprint the floor and spot up for an open three as well as penetrate off the dribble and kick it out to an open man. He is listed as a shooting guard according to ESPN, but plays more of a combo guard style. He and his twin brother Andrew are the leaders of Travis High School where they have led their team to a 30-3 record. The Harrison brothers are ranked 4th and 5th nationally in the Class of 2013 according to ESPN’s Recruiting Nation; Aaron is ranked 5th. His ability to penetrate and find the open man for a kick out, as well as spot up for an open three makes him a near perfect fit for Coach Calipari’s dribble drive offense.
I recently had the opportunity to speak with Andrew and Aaron and will have the Andrew interview a bit later. For now, here is my interview with Aaron Harrison.
