When it comes to the best rivalries in college sports many come to mind. No doubt you probably thought right away Duke and UNC would top the list. According to Dick Vital, you would be right. But you also no doubt thought where would the Kentucky-Louisville rivalry rank. Vital says that in all the rivalries in all of college sports, the UK-UL rivalry is the 3rd best rivalry. The best player in the class of 2014 is Andrew Wiggins. He currently only has one scholarship offer, that just so happens to be Kentucky. In recruiting, the first school to offer a player a scholarship makes a HUGE impression on the player. Let’s hope Andrew Wiggins this leaves a huge impression on him.

Kentucky signee Alex Poythress continues to turn heads. Last night he put up Anthony Davis like numbers on the rebounding side and scoring like Kobe Bryant. Poythress had a career high 48 points and 21 rebounds. His game should transfer over to Calipari’s offense nicely.

You knock him down he gets up. You throw something at him and it doesn’t faze him. Former UK player and current Orlando Magic guard DeAndre Liggins is tough. Whatever adversity you throw at the kid, he won’t crumble. That’s what Kentucky grew to love about Liggins.
