Making themselves well-known in NBA circles, former Cats DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall, and Brandon Knight have been named to the roster for the 2012 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge. This event, which is being held during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Orlando on February 25-26th, is an event most of you might be familiar with. Formerly known as the Rookie and Sophomore game, this game is basically the same thing, except for the first time the rosters will be mixed with players from both sides. Other notable names on the roster include Blake Griffin, Kyrie Irving, and Ricky Rubio. The teams will be coached by TNT analysts Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal, who will make their picks live at 7PM on TNt on February 16th.

He won’t put up points like some other contenders, but he will own the paint defensively.”
