Happy Super Bowl Sunday WBN Nation! I hope you all enjoyed the football you get to watch for a while. And the food and beverages. And maybe Sheila from accounting, if it’s an office party. It’s been a huge week for Kentucky football with National Signing Day this week. It has been covered extensively, the Cats pulled in an excellent haul on Wednesday. One of the best overall classes in years, if not ever. Unfortunately the ratings services weren’t very impressed, ranking UK 11th in the SEC at best. But that industry is a popularity contest in many aspects and Kentucky rarely ranks outside the bottom four. Scout is the site ranking UK #11 in the SEC and they also have the Cats ranked #31 nationally. Ahead of both Louisville and Vanderbilt, schools most fans felt were whipping Kentucky on the recruiting trail. It appears that the arrow is pointing upward for Kentucky right now, finishing off a strong class after finally breaking the UT hex. Hopefully people will get behind the team and Commonwealth will start rocking again this fall.
