Kentucky Wildcats maintain big lead over North Carolina Tarheels, Kansas Jayhawks in NCAA Wins race

John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats were the only team in the big three to escape January unscathed as the Wildcats rolled to a 9-0 month.  Thanks to Kansas’s win over Oklahoma on February 1, the Jayhawks now have a four game lead over North Carolina for second place on the coveted list.  The Tar Heels had a solid month with seven wins and can still overtake Kansas for second with a deep tournament run.  There is no catching Kentucky this year for number one, but the race for number two  will certainly heat up as all teams head into the meat of their conference play.
