I’m going to stray away from UK football for my post today, and venture into non Kentucky-related NFL news.
The NFL playoffs are in full swing right now as we prepare for this weekend’s conference championship games. Many of you folks probably watched the matchup between the Broncos and the Patriots this past weekend, and most of us did not get the type of game we were hoping for. The Broncos were the Cinderellas of the NFL this season and invoked memories of the magical Final Four run by George Mason in the 2006 NCAA tournament, the improbable World Series by the Red Sox back in 2004, or the Miracle on Ice. The mystique of the Broncos season was fueled by an unlikely hero in quarterback Tim Tebow, and he eventually became the one of the most polarizing figures in sports.
I'll admit that I'm not really a writer and I'll ask for forgiveness for any grammatical or spelling mistakes in my posts. What I am, is a die-hard Kentucky fan, and I'm one of the few football-first UK fans out there. I cover the gridiron Cats exclusively and will be bringin you updates on the team, the games, the roster, recruiting, and my own opinions each week.
