Former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA: 1/12 Edition

by Former Cats in the NBA

DeMarcus Cousins: Kings Center

This former Cat and fan favorite had another huge night in a Sacramento win over the Raptors. Boogie notched a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds. Numbers very similar to the 19 and 19 he posted against Louisville. Just thought I would throw that in there.

Chuck Hayes: Kings Center

Jodie Meeks: 76ers Guard

Meeks had three points in 16 minutes of play in a loss to the Knicks.

Josh Harrellson: Knicks Center

Jorts played 23 minutes off the bench for New York and posted 13 points, one block, two assists and one rebound. Josh is making an impact in NYC and it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. I think he will be a starter in the NBA one day.

Rajon Rondo: Celtics Point Guard

The geriatric Celtics lost another one (4-5 on the year) and Rondo still had an excellent game. Rondo scored 24 points, had 3 steals, 7 assists, and 3 rebounds. He might be reconsidering that trade talk. I hope not because I am a huge Celtics fan.

Nazr Mohammed: Thunder Center

Mohammed played 14 minutes in a win over the Hornets. He had four points, four rebounds and one steal.

John Wall: Wizards Point Guard

Stop me if you heard this one before: John Wall has a good game and the Wizards get blown out. Well, it happened again. Wall had 11 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds in a 14 point loss to the Bulls. Derrick Rose did not play, so I can’t compare the Calipari guard performances. Damn!

Patrick Patterson: Rockets Forward

Patterson continues to do good things for this Rockets team after returning after an injury. 2 Pat scored 10 points and pulled in 7 rebounds in 23 minutes of play. As his playing time increases, so will his stats. Pat is a starter, it’s just a matter of time before it happens. The Rockets still lost to the Spurs.

Daniel Orton: Magic Center
