Could another 2012 recruit fall the Kentucky Wildcats and John Calipari’s way? To be honest, I really have no clue, but big man DaJuan Coleman is all set to announce his college decision at 2:30PM tomorrow. From all indications, it is a two horse race between Kentucky and Syracuse. According to Adam Zagoria, he skipped his Ohio State visit this weekend and went to the West Virginia/Syracuse football game, which likely means the Buckeyes are out of the running.
If you read the tea leaves, this appears to be a Syracuse announcement from Coleman, although you can look at his weekend visit a couple of ways. One is that he is a sure Syracuse commit. But remember, Coleman also visited Syracuse in August in Big Blue Madness in October. His weekend visit could have mean he was still undecided and wanted to check out the Cuse again.
I’ve learned not bet with my heart thanks to the Dolphins, but if you ask me, my guy is telling me Syracuse and staying close to home with him, but this one seems like it could go either way. We have also learned to never count John Calipari out either.
